Dinner

So I went shopping for food tonight, at the lovely Ukrops a few blocks up the street. But I didn't have the necessary bottle of less-than-crazy-expensive wine for dinner, so I walked up the street (up being the opposite direction from the first up) to Strawberry Street Market and bought a $6 bottle of screw-top california cabernet that actually wasn't too bad. A bit heavy on the oak, but that's pretty much what I think about all Cali wines.

Salad: baby greens, radiccio, olives, cherry tomatoes, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Wish I had some chopped walnuts.
Dinner: blackened salmon.
Cheese: French brie on stale water crackers.

The only really amazing and blogworthy part of dinner was that I could walk up the street to a wine shop. The empty glass is sitting in front of me, but I can't dredge up the name of the label. Ends in "ee", has a retro 50s theme. I had to use pliers to get the screwtop off. Go figure.

Building the Floor

I've been busy for the past few days helping build out the space at the new location for the Richmond Fencing Club. Check out that blog here:
